August proved to be one of the toughest months we’ve faced since launching SHA Racing, but despite challenging racing conditions, extreme heat, heavy rain towards the end of the month and some difficult betting markets, we still managed to finish the month with +24.5 points profit for our VIP members.
That means SHA Racing has now delivered 7 consecutive profitable months since launch.
Our aim every month is simple: provide carefully selected horse racing tips, protect the betting bank and produce long-term profit for our members. Not every month is going to be straightforward, and August certainly tested us, but finishing another difficult month in profit shows exactly why consistency and sensible staking matter.
August VIP Results
Across August, our SHA Racing VIP service delivered:

The 48.7% win rate is calculated from our 55 winners from 113 total VIP selections.
For anyone staking £20 per point, our +24.5 point monthly result would have produced a profit of:
24.5 points × £20 = £490 profit
August may not have matched some of the bigger profits we have achieved in previous months, but £490 profit at £20 per point is still £490 more in the bank, and ultimately profit is what we aim to deliver.
7 Months of Consecutive Profit Since Launch
One of the achievements we are most proud of is now reaching 7 profitable months in a row since SHA Racing launched.
Horse racing betting will always contain winning runs, losing runs and difficult periods. There will never be a straight line upwards.
Our approach is focused on the bigger picture.
Rather than chasing every race, our SHA Racing VIP horse racing tips are selected with the aim of finding value, producing consistent results and building profit over the long term.
August was a perfect example of why that approach is important.
Despite a tough month, we still came out the other side with +24.5 points profit, maintaining our 100% record of profitable months since launch.
16 Winners During the York Ebor Festival
One of the biggest highlights of August came during the York Ebor Festival, where SHA Racing landed an incredible 16 winners across the meeting.
Those winners included some fantastic prices such as:

…and many more winners throughout the festival.
Major horse racing festivals can provide some brilliant betting opportunities, but they can also be incredibly competitive. Landing 16 winners during the York Ebor Festival was therefore a huge highlight for both SHA Racing and our members.
It also demonstrated that our selections are not simply built around short-priced favourites. Finding winners at prices such as 11/1, 8/1 and 17/2 can make a major difference to a betting bank when the selections land.
Difficult Racing Conditions Throughout August
August was far from an easy month for UK horse racing.
Throughout parts of the month we experienced extreme heat, which can affect ground conditions, race tactics and how certain horses perform.
Then during the final three days of August, the weather changed dramatically with extreme rain, creating another challenge when assessing going conditions and individual horses.
Ground conditions can change quickly in British racing and form that looks strong on good or quick ground may become far less relevant once significant rainfall arrives.
These are exactly the types of factors we consider when producing our daily horse racing betting tips and VIP selections.
Even with those difficult conditions, our selections still finished August comfortably in positive territory.
